Wood removal routes in Saxony – Departure routes in the Landeswald with binder-free construction

The dataset covers the timber removal routes in the Free State of Saxony, which are carried out in the course of the NavLog project since March 2007 and which are relevant for logistics and currently used. Wood removal routes are transport and return routes that are used in wood harvesting. For each section of the route, information is provided on the size (length, width, height), through width, tonnage and navigability when loaded. The NavLog project, as a joint project of the forestry and timber industry, aims to create a uniform navigational database across the entire network of forest holdings. The data is used in the exit route map, scale 1:25.000.
