Magnetic Anomaly Data of Auckland Volcanic Field

This dataset is the aeromagnetic anomaly data of the Auckland Volcanic Field (AVF), covering most of the field except for the Boggust Park volcano and vent clusters around the Pukaki Lagoon and the Puhinui Craters. The data were initially published by Eccles et al. (2005) and Cassidy et al. (1999). The aeromagnetic data has been de-spiked but not micro-levelled due to the absence of tying lines. <b>Due to instrumental errors, diurnal magnetic variations were not removed from the southern AVF aeromagnetic data (CA_Miller_1996_AVF_SouthPart.csv)</b>. Please consult Eccles (2003) and Miller (1996) for more details. X-Y positions are given in NZMG and NZTM coordinate systems, while flight Z is relative to the ground and sea surfaces.
