Connecting to Country, Cultural Corridors Goomal Trail, Conservation of Trail - Stage 2

This project is the second stage in the construction of the Goomal Cultural Trail through the Roelands Aboriginal Village site. This project will involve weed treatment and revegetation of priority areas throughout the site, and the construction (and maintenance) of walking tracks, boardwalks and railings where required. Signage with appropriate cultural interpretation will also be established using traditional cultural protocols. A community planting day and on-country visits with local Elders will provide the local community, as well as Cultural Corridors and Woolkabunning Kiaka volunteers, with enhanced understanding of the significant heritage values of the area.
