West Midlands Metro User Profile Survey 2017

Metro opened to the public in 1999 and runs between Birmingham and Wolverhampton. The survey provides:

i) Respondents profile in terms of journey purpose, age, gender, occupation, working status, SEG and car ownership/availability.
ii) Travel habits in terms of frequency of use, time of use, mode of travel to stops, boarding and alighting stop.
iii) Change in travel patterns since opening of extension, reasons for changes, and opinion of Metro journey since opening of city centre extension.
iv) Reasons for travelling by metro.
v) Awareness of new ways to pay for Metro journey, current ways of paying and potential use of new methods for future journeys.
vi) Information used on Metro journeys and use of social media.
