GIRE

GIRE dataset (Greek Inscriptions of the Roman Empire) is based on PHI epigraphic dataset and consists of a subset of inscriptions which (a) are geocoded, (b) are within the borders of the Roman Empire in its highest extent, (c) include numerical temporal information (typically a dating interval), (d) their dating interval intersects the period from 50 BC to 350 AD. In version 0.1, the dataset consists of 44,313 records and 29 attributes. The attributes include references to other epigraphic databases, such as Trismegistos, EDCS etc. We publish the dataset as one geojson or parquet file.
