This accession contains reference documents used to convert the International Comprehensive Ocean-Atmosphere Data Set (ICOADS) R3.0 from the IMMA1 format to the netCDF format supported at NCEI. The netCDF file used the same variable names ("short names") as the IMMA1 format described in the documents in this access. So the IMMA1 and netCDF can be referenced to the same ICOADS tables.
