Site yield at 160 m height

The power curve of WEA has only a certain validity range of relevant wind parameters, such as turbulence intensity, inclined flow and wind shear. In reality, however, these validity ranges are exceeded at many locations. For example, increased turbulence occurs especially in forest sites or too dense placement of WEA. Therefore, a flat-rate deduction of approx. 6 % is recommended when using the site yield.
