Weekly consumer spending change in department stores in the U.S. 2021

In the United States, consumer spending in department stores increased by 52 percent in the week ending on July 18, 2021 compared to the same week in 2020. Similarly, consumer spending increased by 48 percent if compared to the same week in 2019, prior to the pandemic.
