This study investigated whether exosomes derived from PTX-resistant breast cancer cells induce chemoresistance in parental cells via the p53/PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway. Exosomes from PTX-sensitive and PTX-resistant cells (MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231) were isolated and characterized, and functional assays (CCK-8, TUNEL, qRT-PCR, and Western blotting), along with bioinformatics analysis, miRNA inhibition, and p53 overexpression, were performed for mechanistic validation.
