Code and data associated with the linked publication. R code to implement the proposed methodology and benchmarks is provided, along with results and input data. Code and data is available under the CC-BY licence. Wind speed observations from the MIDAS dataset may only be shared with bona fide researchers who demonstrate that they have appropriate registration and licence agreement with the British Atmospheric Data Center. Atmospheric classification is based on MERRA-2 reanalysis data.
