A first-principles theoretical model of the reconnection rate in non-steady magnetic reconnection

This dataset contains key results of a two-dimensional PIC simulation for non-steady magnetic reconnection. The dataset can be read by MATLAB. The "Dat_txx.mat" file contains full information of Ey, (E+Ve\times B)_y, Bz, Vex, Vix at the time \Omega_i*t=xx. The "Data_timeseries.mat" file contains data of time evolution of Ey, Bz, Vix, Vex, aspect ratios, etc, at the edge of the EDR or IDR, respectively.
