U.S. Congressional Election Results, 1920–1974 (House and Senate)

This dataset provides cleaned and structured election results for U.S. House and Senate races from 1920 to 1974. The data were compiled from the official publication Election Statistics: 1920 to Present, maintained and published by the Clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives. The dataset follows the same structure as the MIT Election Lab’s congressional election data covering 1976–2022 for ease of use. All data were processed and organized by Sai Zhang.
