Electrophysiological recordings of neurons in S2, VPC, and DPC during cognitive tasks

This database contains spike recordings from the dorsal and ventral premotor cortices and the secondary somatosensory area of Rhesus monkeys during cognitive tasks, as well as the scripts used for the analysis of the main paper. The data include the spike times, waveforms, their associated psychometric data and two-dimensional embeddings obtained using UMAP with two different parameter configurations. In addition to the embeddings, the dataset includes the neuron classification results derived from both UMAP and PCA (where applicable). The embeddings were generated using a custom in-house script developed in our laboratory, which is available in the accompanying GitHub repository (https://github.com/d-suarez-b/UMAP-Dimensionality-Reduction-for-Spike-Sorting-Analysis.). The repository also includes detailed instructions for running the code and reproducing the analyses presented in the paper.
