Companies: number of enterprises by sector and size and corresponding number of workers per employment relationship

The dataset contains the companies and employees recorded in the 9th Census of Industry and Services. The detection units are: individual enterprises, partnerships and capital companies, cooperatives (excluding social cooperatives, subject to the survey on non-profit institutions), private-law consortia, public economic bodies, special companies and public service companies. For the purposes of the census, self-employed and self-employed persons are also considered to be an undertaking. Companies are classified by Ateco 2007 (5 digits), number of employees (employees, independent, external, temporary) and their characteristics. NOTE: not all categories of workers are classified as low to the same characteristics: e.g. nationality is only available to employees, profession only for employees, etc.). This dataset has been issued by the Municipality of Milan.
