Microbial communities associated with lesions of treponeme-associated hoof disease (TAHD) in free-ranging elk (Cervus canadensis)

The goal of this BioProject is to describe bacterial communities with 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing of interdigital skin from abnormal and normal hooves collected from free-ranging elk (Cervus canadensis) to identify bacterial operational taxonomic units associated with treponeme-associated hoof disease (TAHD) hoof lesions.
