Number of announced inward greenfield FDI projects in China 2013-2023

In 2023, around 472 inward greenfield foreign direct investment (FDI) projects have been announced in China. The number of greenfield investments has decreased gradually over recent years.Greenfield investment is a type of foreign direct investment in which a company establishes a subsidiary in a foreign country.

截至2023年，我国已宣布约472项绿地外国直接投资（FDI）项目。近年来，绿地投资的规模逐渐呈下降趋势。所谓绿地投资，即企业在外国设立子公司的外国直接投资形式。
