This data is used to support the manuscript "Assess Absorption Capacity for CO2 and Ocean Acidification Based on A New Indicator γCO2".
We propose a new factor to measure the capacity of seawater to absorb CO2.
Of the data provided, the GAMACO2CAL.m file is a Matlab Calculation Method of γCO2. Please run help GAMACO2CAL to get using method. The code is relatively short, so check and revised the instructions yourself.
The historical.nc is the calculations of the Revelle factors, GAMADIC factors and GAMACO2 factors from January 1992 to December 2020. For detailed data description, run ncdisp.
The 126.nc, 245.nc, 370.nc, 585.nc are the calculations of the GAMACO2 factors from January 2015 to December 2100. For detailed data description, run ncdisp.
