The Relation Between the Individual Citizen and the Public Authorities, 1979

The survey was conducted on behalf of the Department of Political Science, UiO, and was led by K. E. Brofoss. It was part of a major research program funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Government Administration and Consumer Affairs. The survey was subsequently followed up with a new survey in 1985: The relationship between the public and the public authorities. The purpose was to map people's contact with public authorities, and their attitudes towards public authorities, government regulations and bureaucracy.
