Il colore come narrazione. Esistenze in colori

If we closed our eyes or suddenly became blind, the world would continue to preserve his own colours, properties in the objects that constitute it. The colours are objective properties and therefore it is possible to agree on them in the form of language, in a certain sense universal in despite of the different languages, but it is not possible to consider them private properties connected with a supposed mental, private, internal nature of the colour, however they are, as phenomena moreover exemplars for our reflection, related to the singularity of the experience of each. And this makes them particular, multiple, undefined, irreducible. The colours are much more than physical properties of the world. They are able to reveal the contents of a culture, a time, a way of living and thinking and to narrate fragments of our existence.
