Supporting simulation files and code for the JAMES technical paper: Implementation of the novel Duo-Grid in GFDL’s FV3 Dynamical Core. This study tests the Duo-Grid implementation in FV3 through idealized 2D and 3D simulations to address the issue of cubed sphere grid imprinting. Please note that the provided code is still a test version. It is compiled with the FMS version tag 2020.04.
