To study the regulatory role of EIF3B in the proliferation of pancreatic cancer (PC) cells. Overall design: We assessed EIF3B and RAB14 expression in PC tissues using The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) datasets. RNA sequencing was performed to identify the candidate targets of EIF3B. The interaction between EIF3B and RAB14, along with its functional implications, was validated through RNA immunoprecipitation, actinomycin D treatment, and luciferase reporter assays. The regulatory influence of EIF3B and RAB14 on cell cycle signaling pathways was examined utilizing gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA) and Western blotting.
