Because of its remarkable biological and environmental effects, ultraviolet radiation has become a hot spot in the study of atmospheric environment and ecology, although it accounts for a small proportion of the total radiation.The network observation of ultraviolet radiation was developed later, mainly including the European Ultraviolet observation network established in the 1980s. A large number of observational studies have also been carried out in China. For example, the Chinese Ecosystem Research Network(CERN) has carried out nationwide network observations. However, observation data received from fewer sites and shorter time scales, it is insufficient to support the study of radiation climatology, long-term radiation changes, ecosystem succession and environmental science.Therefore, based on the observation data of existing sites, the UV radiation reconstruction method suitable for the national scale was constructed. Then, the ultraviolet radiation data of long time and large space scale can be obtained by combining the conventional meteorological data of long time observation.Ultraviolet radiation has important effects on people, materials, ecosystems and global climate due to its unique properties, but observational data are not enough to support scientific research. Therefore, it is reconstructed based on existing data to obtain long time and large-scale UV radiation data. Therefore, in order to obtain long-term and large-scale UV radiation data, reconstruction UV radiation from existing observational data. When creating this data set, first according to the " hybrid model" to obtain the historical data of total surface radiation. Then, UV radiation estimation formula was established by using clear sky index and other parameters. Finally, the reconstructed UV radiation data of 724 observation stations in China were calculated after the accuracy was verified. The time range of this dataset is 2015-2020.
