Survival of the choosiest: how the frequency of plant defences affect insect oviposition preference

Data and script. Dataframe includes information on eggs, instar1, instar2, instar3 and instar4 per plant across four censuses (C1, C2, C3 and C4). Host plants were characterised by their defensive strategy as either resistant (R) or tolerant (T). The frequency of these defensive strategies was manipulated within experimental cages as: 0.1, 0.5 and 0.9 of resistant plants. For the last two censuses, larval density and survival per plant was also estimated.
