Supporting data for “Effects of Acupoint Stimulation Therapy on Psychiatric Disorders in Women Victims of Domestic Violence and Blood Chemokines: A Randomized Controlled Trial”

This is the dataset for a randomized controlled trial that involved 110 women victims diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD), conducted in Hong Kong, China. Participants were randomly assigned to receive standard care (CAU) or a combination of standard care with electroacupuncture (EA) + transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) (EA+TEAS) (n = 55 each group).
