NRS-4306 | Register of requisitions for salaries and contingencies

The Chief Gold Commissioner received requisitions for salaries and contingent expenses from each of his Assistant Commissioners and forwarded them to the Audit Office. This volume gives, for each month, the date of receipt of the requisition and date forwarded by the Chief Commissioner to the Audit Office, the amount required for each establishment, the name of the Commissioner in charge and, under remarks, the amount of any arrears, advances and in some cases the names of members of the local gold police and notes on the costs of some commodities. The monthly salaries and contingent expenses of the Chief Commissioner's establishment are also recorded. (2/2175). 1 vol.
