Comfort TV: Considering Everyday Television Use as a Mode of Self-Care

This dataset includes participant surveys, qualitative interviews (first phase and second phase), viewing journals and environment photos from the Comfort TV Research Project. Please note, hospital patients (HP) completed written surveys only, while family units (FU) and first-year undergraduate students (FYUS) each had to complete a survey, participate in two qualitative interviews and document their television viewing in a journal (minimum of 7 entries). Environment photos illustrate a typical viewing location(s) for each participant or group of participants.
