PRODUCTION OF COAL-BASED ADSORBENTS FROM LOCAL WASTE AND THEIR APPLICATION IN TREATING INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER FROM OIL AND FAT PROCESSING PLANTS

The increasing volume of industrial wastewater generated by oil and fat processing enterprises poses serious environmental challenges, particularly due to the presence of organic pollutants, suspended solids, and residual oils. At the same time, the accumulation of local solid waste creates additional ecological and economic concerns. This study explores an integrated solution by converting locally available waste materials into effective coal-based adsorbents for wastewater treatment.
