Weekdays snack food choices in Japan 2017, by type

This survey depicts the food consumed between meals on an average working day in Japan as of June 2017, broken down by type of food. The survey revealed that the majority of respondents, over 50 percent, claimed to skip snacks during weekdays. In contrast, approximately 3.8 percent of the Japanese respondents named instant food, retort food or cereals as their snack food of choice on weekdays.
