Study on the correlation between long-term continuous application of biogas slurry and soil compaction
结果表明:CK、BS和BS+CF处理土壤有机质含量逐渐降低,而BS+OF和CF+OF处理则相反。
Soil compaction has emerged as a global environmental problem. While some researchers have suggested that the application of biogas slurry may cause soil compaction, there are currently no studies elucidating the specific mechanisms underlying biogas slurry-induced soil compaction. This study investigates the synergistic effects of biogas slurry application rate, application method and soil structure. A field experiment was established with five treatments: control (CK), combined application of chemical fertilizer and organic fertilizer (CF+OF), 100% biogas slurry application (BS), combined application of biogas slurry and organic fertilizer (BS+OF), and combined application of 50% biogas slurry and 50% chemical fertilizer (BS+CF), to explore the correlation between consecutive biogas slurry application and soil compaction. The results indicated that soil organic matter content gradually declined in the CK, BS and BS+CF treatments, whereas an opposite trend was observed in the BS+OF and CF+OF treatments. Soil bulk density and degree of compaction decreased with increasing soil organic matter content, while soil total porosity and saturated hydraulic conductivity exhibited positive correlations with organic matter content. Predictions using the double exponential smoothing model showed that soils under CK, BS and BS+CF treatments would develop compaction after 12, 13 and 14 years of consecutive utilization, respectively, while the other treatments improved soil quality. Comprehensive analysis concluded that combined application of biogas slurry and organic fertilizer represents a more scientific biogas slurry application strategy.
