RNA sequencing reveals differential gene expression in the spinal dorsal horn under neuropathic pain conditions.

The spinal dorsal horn plays a significant role in neuropathic pain. However, the details of their transcriptional changes under neuropathic pain conditions remain unclear. The spared nerve injury (SNI) model represents a well-established model of neuropathic pain, and we conducted RNA sequencing to characterize the transcriptional changes in the dorsal horn neurons of the lumbar spinal cord on day 14 post-SNI. We constructed the SNI model using C57BL/6J mice, and on day 14 post-surgery, we extracted the L5-L6 dorsal horn tissue, isolated RNA, and performed RNA sequencing.
