Dataset: Germination response of diverse wild and landrace chile peppers (Capsicum spp.) under drought stress simulated with polyethylene glycol

These data and analysis files (Rmd) accompany the manuscript "Germination response of diverse wild and landrace chile peppers (Capsicum spp.) under drought stress simulated with polyethylene glycol".Accessions of chile pepper collected from southern Mexico were grown under uniform conditions to produce seed. This seed was used in a germination study evaluating response under four treatments (water control, 10%, 15%, and 20% w/v PEG-6000. Variation in germination patterns was evaluated using survival-time analysis, and heritability of different germination curve characteristics was assessed.
