资源简介:
The tracings date from the 1970s through to the 1990s and were submitted, in the most part, by archaeologists as part of fieldwork research projects and Aboriginal heritage site assessment and recording under development application procedures. The tracings are mostly drawn in permanent marker pen onto two plastic types: Polythene and Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), Polythene being the most common. In a few instances recordings have been made using paint onto plastic - which is now mostly flaking off - or with marker on calico cloth material. The majority of the tracings were submitted to the Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) - then known as the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) - over a period of 30 years. They are folded in large brown envelopes labelled with the site number. The tracings were stored together in cardboard boxes in no particular order. They have now been labelled with the Aboriginal Heritage Information System (AHIMS) site number with permanent marker pen directly onto the plastic. The number has a rectangle around it and a suffix of '-1' followed by a capital letter. The capital letter separates out numerous tracings that record the same site number.
