Data of Bridge Collapses in Ecuador

This dataset compiles 100 bridge-collapse events recorded in Ecuador between 2000 and 2026. It includes an ID identification, year in which each failure occurred, bridge name, location, geographic coordinates, crossing type, and crossing name. It also documents the bridge type, construction material, cause and severity of collapse. Additionally, it identifies whether each bridge was operational or under construction when the failure occurred.
