The International Committee of the Red Cross is requesting the non-rush GIO-EMS service to characterize the built-up of the Darfur (Sudan) cities of Al Geneina and El Daein. The purpose of the requested analysis is to map the informal and formal settlements and the non-residential city structures to derive population estimates and population densities per sector to facilitate the planning and estimation of the needs for an urban water network. <br>
