Environmental Ordinance, Restriction of Large-Scale Logistics

The Environmental Regulation designates an area for ‘Restriction of Large-Scale Logistics’. Here are restrictions on expansion and new location of large-scale logistics. The latter is for plots of 3 hectares or larger with large-scale buildings for logistics or distribution activities. The aim of the scheme is to allow and prevent the development of large-scale logistics only in suitable locations and beyond. The Environmental Regulation lays down rules for this area that municipalities must take into account when drawing up an environmental plan for large-scale logistics.
