This Zenodo entry contains data and code for "Young birds drive range shift despite cultural inheritance of parental sites". "Linssen_culturalinheritance_data.RData" provides the necessary data and one custom function, and can be opened directly into the R environment."Linssen_culturalinheritance_metadata.json" contains metadata information on the data tables included in the RData file."Linssen_culturalinheritance_script.R" provides the script which can be run, once the data is loaded, to reproduce the results. "tracks1.csv", "catchdata.csv" and "pairs_familial.csv" are the .csv versions of the data tables in "Linssen_2025_culturalinheritance_data.RData".These files are not needed to run the analysis (as the .RData file already includes them), but they are included to ensure long-term reproducibility across platforms. --- These data are currently under restricted access at Zenodo, pending publication in a journal.
