Data from: Effects of flight and food stress on energetics, reproduction, and lifespan in the butterfly Melitaea cinxia

Niitepõld 2019 Oecologia dataData are from female Glanville fritillary butterflies reared at Lammi Biological Station, Finland. Each female has multiple rows in the dataset; one row per day. Females were fed twice daily with honey-water. Additional information is provided in the comments in the data headers. Measured traits include: body mass, food intake, number of eggs laid, egg wet mass, egg dry mass, water percentage, resting metabolic rate, peak flight metabolic rate, total volume of CO2 emitted during flight measurement, lifespan, age at the onset of reproduction, number of clutches.
