Emerging elements of the Historical Centre identified by the P.E.B.A.

Emerging elements, with indication of the degree of accessibility, identified by the plan for the elimination of architectural barriers P.E.B.A.The Municipality of Genoa, in implementation of Law N 41 of 28/02/1986, with Resolution (DGC) n.143 of 14/07/2016, initiated the process for the drafting of the Plan for the Elimination of Architectural Barriers (P.E.B.A.), which ended with the approval in the Municipal Council (DGC) No 23 of 11/02/2021. The P.E.B.A. of Genoa analyses from the point of view of motor and sensory accessibility the municipal territory dividing it into 94 areas, i.e. portions of territory where most public functions of importance and interest to the citizen are concentrated, returning a map with 4 colors depending on the degree of presence or absence of architectural barriers.
