Forest functions in Saxony – Forest with special protective function on restoration sites – Areas 1 ha

The data set contains forest areas (1 ha) with a special protective function on restoration areas in the Free State of Saxony. Renaturation areas are areas that are to be returned to forest use after mining of mineral resources or other denaturation. The forest has the task of renaturalising this site. Areas that are reforested and forested by natural succession are recorded. The data is used for the forest function map 1:25.000 of Saxony.
