A validation dataset of multi-temporal impervious surfaces validation in Yangtze River Delta from 1985 to 2020. The dataset was designed based on the stratified random sampling and developed from interpretation using high resolution images in Google Earth and time series image data. Overall, a total of 3,845 validation samples were finally collected and 1,685 impervious surface samples were included. And the dataset is provided in .shp format.
