Research Content: Drawing on the latest advances in cognitive neuroscience and behavioral science, this study develops sensitive detection paradigms for cognitive impairment assessment, and elucidates their underlying neural mechanisms via electroencephalogram event-related potentials (EEG ERP) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) techniques. Additionally, it establishes cognitive assessment models based on deep learning methods to classify elderly individuals with cognitive impairment. Guided by the scaffolded brain cognitive plasticity theory of cognitive aging and the interaction principle of intervention technologies, the research conducts theoretical investigations, develops integrated rehabilitation training solutions combining cognitive intervention, motor intervention, and neuro-modulation (brain stimulation) intervention, and reveals the neural mechanisms underlying their efficacy in cognitive impairment rehabilitation using EEG ERP and fMRI technologies.
