资源简介:
This dataset explores the acute effects of superimposed local vibration (SLV) during intermittent isometric knee extension contractions performed at 30% and 50% of maximal voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC) in healthy adults (n = 52).
The first column corresponds to the participant identification number.
All variables follow the format:
AAAAA_BB_CCC
AAAAA – Outcome variable
TTF: Time to task failure (s)
TTI: Torque-Time integral (N·m·s)
Tmax: Maximal voluntary isometric torque (N·m)
RFD50-100: Rate of Force Development between 50 and 100 ms after contraction onset (N·m)
RMSMAX: RMS values of the quadriceps muscles (Quad) during MVIC (mV)
RMSFATIGUE: RMS values of the quadriceps muscles (Quad) during the fatiguing task (in percentage of RMSMAX Quad PRE)
CoactFATIGUE: RMS values of the biceps femoris during the fatiguing task (in percentage of RMSMAX BF PRE)
BB – Experimental condition
CON: Control condition (no vibration)
SLV: Superimposed local vibration applied to the quadriceps tendon during contractions
CCC – Time point / task phase
PRE: Values obtained before the fatiguing task
POST: Values obtained immediately after task termination
First: Values obtained from the first contraction
Last: Values obtained from the last contraction
