Molecular mechanisms regulating the production of sex hormones as well as specific mosquito organs contributing to transition behaviours are not well defined. We performed transcriptional analysis separately for mosquito head and body to better understand how alterations in gene expression correlate with mosquito behaviours we divided mosquitoes body into part of "head" and "body".
