The files at 12/1699.2 relate to decisions on the payment of superannuation to contributors to the State Superannuation Scheme (1917-25) and superannuation payments etc. for missing soldiers or prisoners of war during World War II (1941-43). Those at 12/3948.2 relate to the Treasury Under Secretary's agreement that pensions would be paid on the last day of the month for which they were due (May 1942) and a request for the appointment of a Deputy Member of the State Superannuation Board, which was refused (July 1942). 1917-25, 1941-43 (12/1699.2, 12/3948.2). 2 bundles.Note: This description is extracted from Concise Guide to the State Archives of New South Wales, 3rd Edition 2000.
