Simulated LiDAR realisations over simulated forest scenes
收藏资源简介:
A simulated LiDAR acquisition over simulated forest areas. For the generation of tree locations, two different methodologies were followed: (i) a Hard-core point process (low and high intensity), (ii) a random placement on a grid. For the generation of trees, the Arbaro software was used, while for the generation of the LiDAR acquisitions, the Helios++ software was used. The dataset is complementary to the preprint found here. A relevant code base for handling the dataset can be found here. Three scenes of generated LiDAR data are provided (#_scenes.zip). The file found in tree_positions.zip contains the original tree spatial locations, and the file dictionary_for_obj_height.csv contains information (height and crown Diameter ('crownD')) on the different 'prototypes' of trees used for simulations.
