Flooding Pluvial in Climate Change scenarios
收藏资源简介:
This study aims to delve into the knowledge of the phenomenon of storm flooding in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country (CAPV), with the aim of (i) identifying in a preliminary way the potentially critical areas that could host current or future storm floodability and suffer potential impacts, (ii) prioritise specific or detailed studies, that contemplate the definition of priority action areas in terms of adaptation to climate change, and (iii) analyse the trends associated with climate change in this phenomenon. The maps generated under this study represent the floodable surface of the pluval flooding phenomenon under different climate scenarios (current scenario and climate change). They also show the trends associated with climate change. It should be noted the uncertainty to which these results are subject due to the starting assumptions assumed in hydrodynamic modelling (absence of drainage and sanitation system, coverage and homogeneous land use), as well as in the definition of rains design the climate change scenario (uncertainty in future extreme precipitation scenarios). In any case, the results generated can serve as a basis for the preliminary prioritisation of potentially critical areas in relation to storm flooding.
