Andean bear microsatellite genotypes and D-loop sequences dataset from Ecuador

Dataset sequences from the hypervariable region 1 of the D-loop, and eleven species-specific microsatellite markers from Ecuadorian Andean bears. Alignment for previous (heterologous) microsatellite markers and newly designed markers are presented using two reference genomes. The Rscript for data analysis developed and implemented for this study is presented as well.
