This study examines the role of Methoprene-Tolerant (MET) and PDGF/VEGF Receptor (PVR) in the juvenile hormone (JH) signaling pathway of Aedes aegypti through RNA interference (RNAi)-mediated knockdown. RNA-seq was performed on whole female mosquito abdomens following dsRNA treatment targeting MET, PVR, and GFP (control). Differential gene expression analysis was performed to compare knockdown conditions and confirm both MET and PVR as essential components of the juvenile hormone (JH) signaling pathway.The results provide insight into the molecular mechanisms of JH regulation, with potential implications for mosquito biology and vector control strategies.
