Raw Dataset for "Effect of Cumin Water on Hunger and Digestion: A Pilot Study"

This dataset contains anonymized participant data collected for the pilot study titled “Effect of Cumin Water on Hunger and Digestion: A Pilot Study.” The study evaluated the effect of cumin water consumption on gastrointestinal symptoms among females aged 18–20 years using the Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale (GSRS). A total of 20 participants were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. Participants in the experimental group consumed 250 mL of cumin water prepared by boiling 2 teaspoons of cumin seeds in 350 mL of water, administered 30 minutes before meals for 21 days. The dataset includes participant group allocation, baseline GSRS scores, post-intervention GSRS scores, and GSRS change scores. Statistical analysis was performed using the Independent-Samples Mann–Whitney U test. All participant data have been anonymized. The dataset is intended for academic and research purposes.
