A gut microbiota study about steroid children steroid-dependent primary nephrotic syndrome

Children with steroid dependent Nephrotic syndrome (SDNS) have higher risk of obesity than healthy children, but the mechanism is unclear. Disordered gut microbiota can promote the development of obesity.Here we collected fecal sample of patients and healthy control, extracted total bacterial DNA from fecal samples and amplified the V3-V4 regions of 16s rRNA gene using Illumina Miseq platform to explore the the association between gut microbiota and obesity of SDNS children
